Kristy Hamilton, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Houston, Texas specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, nose, breast, and body. She has a deep interest in creating beautiful, refined, natural-looking results to successfully achieve her patients’ aesthetic goals. Dr. Hamilton applies her elevated aesthetic eye, finesse technical skills, and extensive anatomic knowledge—with caring and precise detail—to transform her patients so they feel and look like the best version of themselves. Being a commissioned artist as well as a scientist, she chose plastic surgery as a natural pathway for her to blend her artistic side with scientific precision.

Dr. Hamilton is passionate about plastic surgery, science, and the arts. She graduated from Vanderbilt University, earning an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics and French literature with double minors in chemistry and biology. Dr. Hamilton obtained her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where she obtained world-class training at the renowned Texas Medical Center, the largest in the world, which includes the following institutions: Houston Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Ben Taub Hospital (an elite Level 1 trauma center), Michael E. DeBakey V.A. Medical Center (the largest V.A. hospital in the nation), MD Anderson Cancer Center (the premier cancer center in the world), and Texas Children’s Hospital (the largest children’s hospital in the country). These hospitals provided Dr. Hamilton exceptional, state-of-the-art surgical training, and led her to complete a rigorous six-year residency program in plastic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine to become a plastic surgeon skilled in aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery, microsurgery, reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, trauma reconstruction, and pediatric plastic surgery. She also trained at the internationally-renowned Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, where she gained additional specialty training in aesthetic surgery.
