Welcome to your modern neighborhood medical practice. What started as one single urgent care has grown to become a full medical group serving the Northside of Chicago. Innovative Care offers primary care, urgent care and therapy (behavioral health) services to our patients. Together, this covers 90% of most patient’s ongoing outpatient healthcare needs. Our team of providers came to Innovative from several area hospitals, including Northwestern, Illinois Masonic, Rush, University of Chicago, and Loyola. If you require care from a specialist, we will refer you to the best doctors in Chicago that can meet your medical needs and your scheduling timeline. All of our providers are affiliated with Illinois Masonic Medical Center, but we can send our patients to any hospital system in the city.

I was long overdue to see a primary care doctor and I went in today to see Dr. Khan and she was amazing! So sweet and funny and the best bedside manner I’ve had from a doctor in a while! She was so understanding and non-judgmental and just all around a really great doctor! The nurses are also really phenomenal, my intake nurse was also very professional and sweet and the nurse that drew my blood was a queen! I usually pass out for blood draws but I’m happy to report there was none of that this time! She walked me through everything she was doing and asked my preference for how to go about the blood draw and it went so smoothly. I can’t recommend coming here enough. The facility itself is also really nice and clean. If you’re looking for a new PCP do yourself a favor and make an appointment!
Dr. Farah Ahmed & staff are terrific—patient centered, professional and personable. Moreover, my blood work was completed in the room which (brilliant)! The Innovative Health Office is conveniently/centrically located and with free parking!!! I couldn’t ask for a better experience. This is definitely my new primary care family for sure. I chose to drive 1/2 hr. (passing by my former primary care doctor which was only 10 mins away) which was well worth it (quality over quantity wins)!
It was great. Reception was incredibly friendly, organized and professional. Office is so nice with comfy waiting area. My intake nurse was incredibly friendly and efficient. I was seen by PA Kahn, who is truly a great practitioner. She answered all my questions, took my concerns seriously and make me feel comfortable and taken care of. This was my best experience with a healthcare provider.
