Jeffrey Crespin, MD (East 61st St) Reviews
Dr. Jeffrey Crespin is truly outstanding! From the moment I walked into his office, I felt welcomed and cared for. He takes the time to listen, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. His professionalism and compassionate approach are top-notch. I highly recommend Dr. Crespin to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy gastroenterologist. Thank you for the excellent care!
Dr. Crespin is very nice, and is more attentive than other gastro docs I’ve dealt with. He’s also got really nice and professional staff that tolerates my doctor’s office anxiety with grace and patience. He also accepts Medicaid, and considering how long he’s been in practice, and that NY is terrible with Medicaid reimbursements, that’s obviously a generous personal choice. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, but be patient (thanks), because that happens when a doc accepts that type of insurance.
Dr. Crespin is the rare doctor who focuses on you as a person instead of just another number. He takes the time to understand the issues and then takes more time to explain possible causes. Even better, he then is clear about what it takes to truly figure things out as opposed to the typical doctor who seems to know all the “answers” without listening or getting data/info. He doesn’t pretend to know the answer as soon as you walk in the door. He makes it clear he is going to put in the work to figure out the right answer and won’t stop until the cause is diagnosed. I traveled from out of state to see him based on a referral and it was the best decision!
