Dr. Thaker Wellness

Dr. Shilpa Thaker, M.D., is an Internal Medicine Physician. She has a private outpatient clinic Aum Internal Medicine, where she has been treating patients since 2011. Dr. Thaker received her undergraduate and masters degrees from UNLV, after which she attended University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2004, followed with Internship and Residency in 2008. I believe in a holistic approach to patient care having been influenced by my cultural background growing up in India where I learned about Ayurvedic medicine in school and home with mom. My grandfather Hariprasad Bhatt, was an Ayurvedic physician, an educator and published author who wrote multiple books on healthy and preventative lifestyles. My journey to becoming a doctor was unusual as I started out as a Computer Programmer in college. But my calling and passion to help people led me to Medicine. My aim (Aum Internal Medicine) has always been to educate and empower my patients to improve their quality of life by helping them achieve their wellness goals with an individualized plan of care. I strive to improve my professional knowledge and am very passionate about the care of my patients, which has brought me to my new endeavor in Wellness Medicine with EMSELLA and EMSCULPT NEO.
