I rarely write reviews but I was important for me to write this one. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 40, I knew I’d opt for a double mastectomy due to my family history. I thought that my body had seen it’s best days, I even had a going away party for my boobs. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Dr. Dumestre and her team do such fantastic work, I am more confident in how I look today than I was before my diagnosis. I feel so lucky. Everything about this experience was better that I had thought due to the skill and professionalism of Dr. Dumestre and her team. It was such a relief to have them as a resource during one of the scariest, most uncertain times in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
My good friend, Rachel, is a member of the patient care staff here, and originally introduced me to the practice through the med spa. Due to that positive experience, I chose to undergo consults here as my first choice when considering plastic surgery. Rachel was great and made me feel very comfortable and was supportive in my decision-making, always making sure I was choosing the route that made me feel the most confident. Dr. Ehanire and her team are truly remarkable! From my initial consultation before my bilateral mastectomy to my current stage of reconstruction, Dr. Ehanire and her team have made the difficult journey of delayed DIEP flap reconstruction easier. They have been nothing short of exceptional. As a nurse my expectations are high, as a patient they are even higher. Dr. Ehanire and her team, Morgan-PA, Taylor- RN, and Rachel- MA, have exceeded every expectation that I have had. Dr. Ehanire is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also one of the most compassionate and caring surgeons I have ever encountered. She took the time to walk through every step of the process, answering my questions with patience and making what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier. Her attention to detail, kindness, and genuine concern for my well-being extends far beyond the operating room. Facing surgery like this is never easy but having a surgeon and her team who genuinely care makes all the difference. I am incredibly grateful for their expertise and kindness and I feel incredibly fortunate to be in their more than capable hands on this journey.
