There are numerous programs that assist indigent persons with healthcare costs, but there are very few programs that assist the working uninsured. Recognizing the need for affordable healthcare in the community Ready Health and Wellness Services was born.

Here at Ready Health and Wellness we believe everyone deserves high-quality, affordable healthcare services. We have partnered with diagnostic imaging and laboratory services to provide affordable diagnostic testing in addition to our low cost services.

Amelia Urgent Care is owned and operated by Daniel Matricia, D.O., who is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. In addition to his years of experience in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care, Dr. Matricia has acquired additional Occupational Medicine qualifications including: Medical Review Officer (MRO), Senior Medical Examiner for the FAA, and is certified by the American Society of Underwater Medicine. Mrs. Sue Matricia, co-owner, is the Chief Operating Officer, and gained years of experience as an Army Medical Service Corps officer and from other medical admin positions. Both Dr. and Mrs. Matricia are retired from the Army Reserves/Ga Army National Guard, and continue to have a special interest in caring for military families, and are glad to accept Tricare.

As a former Director of Emergency Services at two local hospitals, Dr. Matricia saw a need for easy access to high quality walk-in medical care and occupational medical services. With two locations serving northeast Florida, Amelia Urgent Care provides dependable, convenient, experienced medical care to a wide range of patients.

The Amelia Urgent Care team includes certified physicians, PA’s and Nurse Practitioners who support its mission of providing easy access to affordable, high quality, medical services.
