Dr. Emily Kirby is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. She was the first female Chief of Plastic Surgery at Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist hospital, the largest hospital in Fort Worth. She earned her board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, one of the 24 medical specialty boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. After graduating as a valedictorian from high school, Dr. Kirby obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Kirby was accepted early to Texas A&M University College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree (MD). While attending Texas A&M, Dr. Kirby received several awards for research, scholarship, and peer appreciation.

Dr. Priyanka also works as a research investigator with Protenium Research, Hurst, TX.

Dr. Priyanka graduated from RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata, India in 2000 with distinction in Forensic Medicine. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India followed by hematology training in UK. In the US, Dr. Priyanka did her Internal Medicine residency at WVU, Morgantown, Hem-oncology fellowship at UTSW Medical center, Dallas and completed Geriatrics fellowship at Yale University, New Haven, CT.

When not at work, she loves to spend time with her family, travel and enjoys her long, reflective walks.
