After learning i had skin cancer the team at LSSCI did a fantastic job in making sure I knew what was going to happen and what to expect. The day of surgery I was put at ease by staff and made sure I was comfortable and calm. Dr. Hanke did his magic closing up the area and even though it is still early I will have a minimal scar when fully healed. Every member of the team I encountered was pleasant, courteous and comforting as any issue with cancer could be.
I had an appointment with Dr. Beth Brogan for a full body scan. I was ushered to an examination room after a very short wait and Dr. Brogan appeared just as soon as I had put on my gown. She examined every part of my body and quickly assured me that everything looked perfectly normal. It was very reassuring to know that there were no signs of skin cancer. I urge everyone to have this type of exam regularly! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Dr. Brogan has provided thorough, expert skin checks on me for 12 years. I trust him to find and treat any pre-cancerous spots and either freeze them off or let me treat with a special cream. A few had to be cut out and biopsied. He is always friendly and caring. 5 stars
