Today was my first time visiting this place and I must say the physicians were very nice and made me feel welcomed. Everything was explained to me perfectly and they treated me with compassion. As for the front desk workers at check in, not so friendly and welcoming, upon leaving one of the ladies just stared me in my face without a farewell.
The clinic is no different than Kirklan Clinic that was previously described. It shares the parking structure with Kirklan, and depending on the time of day, parking can be very difficult. There is street parking, but it too is limited. The clinic itself is attractive, and waits aren’t long.
I live in Huntsville but make the horrible drive on I65 to UAB Rheumatology at Whitaker because they diagnosed me correctly, put me on the correct medication and actually care! Sure wish Huntsville had better and more caring and more doctors! I have to have two separate doctors in the Birmingham area now. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Huntsville and surrounding area to make the drive if their current Rheumatologist isn’t getting the job done!
